Debora Simonetti


Debora Simonetti is a spinto lyric soprano from Marche Region. She began to study piano when she was very young and then she has dedicated to singing.

Graduated from “Morlacchi” Conservatorium of Perugia, she sings in Puccini's “Suor Angelica” at Todi Festival and in Joplin's “Treemonisha” at Umbria Jazz.

Under the direction of Pantaneschi, she debuts in the role of “Arminda” in Mozart's “La Finta Giardiniera” at Pavone Theatre in Perugia accompanied by Umbria Symphony Orchestra.

In Ascoli Piceno, she sings in the role of Lola in Mascagni's “Cavalleria Rusticana” directed by Tomasello.

She debuts in the main role of Arianna in Duka's “Arianna e Barbablù” in Florence for the project “Guarda l'Europa” flanked by the actress Valeria Ciangottini.

For “I solisti Piceni” Orchestra, she sings “Salve Regina” and Pergolesi's “Missa Romana”, and at “Cantiere Internazionale d'Arte” in Montepulciano, she performs “I dodici Musicali” (inspired by Pergolesi's “Stabat Master”).

She has performed different concerts of chamber and lieder music and she has been awarded at Città della Pietra Ligure “International Music Competition”.

After winning for the opera in competition “Cavalleria Rusticana” at Besostri di Mede Theatre in Pavia, she debuts in the role of Santuzza at Don Bosco Theatre in Pavia directed by Fasano.
