Tania Pacilio was born in Cantù (Como). She began singing since she was a child, she became interesting in light music, rock and metal. She began her studies at the age of 25 with soprano Fiorella Prandini and then at the Conservatoire “G. Verdi” in Como.
She continued her studies in Lugano with Fiorenza Cedolins and in Miland with Vittoria Licari.
Tania Pacilio made her operatic debut as Suzuki in Puccini’s Madama Butterfly in 2008, subsequently: Maddalena in Verdi’s Rigoletto, Flora in Verdi’s Traviata, Un Musico in Puccini’s Manon Lescaut, Zia Principessa in Puccini’s Suor Angelica, Mamma Lucia in Mascagni’s Cavalleria Rusticana, Zita in Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi, Fenena in Verdi’s Nabucco, Carmen in Bizet’s Carmen.
She has collaborated with opera companies and association as: Ritorno All’Opera, Croma2000, L’Opera Rinata, Festival di San Benedetto Po, Coro Lirico Lugano, Festival Ruggero Leoncavallo in Brissago, Orchestra Sinfonica del Lario, “La compagnia del belcanto”, AS.LI.CO (Pocket opera Tosca)
She was finalist in some opera competition as Ismaele Voltolini in Mantova, “Coop Music Awards” and “Pietro Mongini” in Miland, in 2015 She won the role of “Mamma Lucia” and “Flora” in Teatro Besostri competition.
